I was visiting my friends in the Detroit area. I was driving home to Cleveland, Ohio on Monday morning when my car's belts and crankshaft pulley broke. I lost power steering. Luckily Shores Car Care was able to get me in and fix my car. I have a Subaru WRX STI which is a hard car to work on. But they had no issues with fixing my car. Everyone was really helpful and kind. I highly recommend Shores Car Care.

What impressed me most was the process. They did a full digital assessment and sent me photos of everything, so I could see exactly what was going on with my own eyes. Rick was professional and easy to work with, and the lobby honestly felt more like a dealership than an independent shop. They didn’t just fix my brakes, they knocked out my oil change and a car wash too, and had everything done the next day. My car was ready in plenty of time for my trip. The follow-up after my visit has been just as impressive. They’re fully digital and automated, but it never feels impersonal. I’ll absolutely be back and would recommend them to anyone looking for a shop they can actually trust.

If you are driving an old car and trying to make it last forever this is the place to go. I've been bringing my 2005 Mini Cooper here for a number of years now because other places -- even the Mini dealership -- treated it like it was an alien spaceship that landed on earth before they were born. Well it is 21 years old. Even so, every time I bring the Mini to Shores Car Care the expert mechanics always figure out the problem no matter how strange the noises are underneath the hood. Skilled mechanics like Brian are super knowledgeable and nice and they explain what's going on by putting the car up on a hoist and taking pictures and videos in the engine compartment or undercarriage to show you what's going on. Whatever the bad news is, they have been able to order parts and get repairs done in two or three days. At other places, I've had to wait a week or more. I highly recommend Shores Car Care.
